Jevíčko City Pigeon Loft
The first pigeon loft in the Pardubice Region
The Jevíčko project began in the attic of a municipal building where a flock of pigeons had already settled before construction started. The town chose a humane approach and created an attic loft capable of housing up to 120 pigeons.
Project documentation was prepared and a local company carried out the construction. The facility also includes space for equipment needed for regular care and maintenance.
Natural acclimatisation played an important role. The attic window remained open during construction, allowing the pigeons to become familiar with the space and even start nesting before completion. After the loft opened, access was maintained through the dedicated entrance opening.
